Cococure · The Culture

African clubs
in London.

Nigerian, Ghanaian, Caribbean — the whole diaspora on one dance floor, every weekend in East London: Stratford and Aldgate.

Search “African club near me” in East London and this is where the night ends up. Cococure runs three of the city’s biggest African nightclubs and lounges — Afrobeats first, with amapiano, bashment, hip-hop and soca through the night, West-African kitchens, shisha in the garden and a crowd that carries Lagos, Accra and London in one room. Naija energy, Ghana vibes, and a dress code that keeps it grown.

Questions,
answered.

Is there an African club near me in East London?
If you’re near Stratford or the City, yes — TWNTY7 and Haus are at 27 Broadway, Stratford E15 (three minutes from Stratford station) and Cité is at 5 Minories, Aldgate EC3N. All three are Cococure venues.
Is Cococure a Nigerian club?
Cococure is African-owned and Afrobeats-led — Nigerian and Ghanaian sounds front and centre, with amapiano, bashment and soca woven through. The crowd is the whole diaspora; everyone’s welcome.
Do you have an African lounge, not just a club?
Yes — Haus is the lounge side: West-African-inspired dining, cocktails and shisha in the heated garden, with DJs building through the evening before the club takes over.
What should I wear to an African club night?
Dress to impress — smart-casual at minimum, no sportswear. Trainers are fine if the rest of the outfit carries it. All nights are 18+ with photo ID.
Do you show African football matches?
For the big ones, yes — we run watch parties (Nigeria, Ghana and England fixtures regularly) that roll straight into the club night. Check the events list above.
