What To Expect

Jamaica turned 64 this week — and Cité is celebrating Independence Weekend in the heart of the city.

Our Aldgate room goes green, gold and black for the night: dancehall and bashment anthems woven through the afrobeats, amapiano and R&B that make AFROBEATS FRIDAYS what it is. Foundation riddims to the new Kingston wave, flags welcome, energy guaranteed.

Ladies free on guestlist before midnight — tables and booths with bottle service bookable online. Doors 11pm–4am. 5 Minories, Aldgate EC3N 1BJ.

Electric shisha at this event — served throughout the venue, indoors and out. Shisha at Cococure → 18+

  • Dress Code Stylish and trendy is the vibe. Smart trainers are welcome - no need to stress about heels. To maintain the look of the night, we do not allow: sportswear, tracksuits, hoodies, caps/hats, manbags, sunglasses, durags, flip-flops, sliders, slippers, or backless sandals.

Group Bookings: We allow multiple bookings per group; however, for groups with more than six men, the group must be mixed (men and women).

Late arrival: Tickets are valid until the stated time on your ticket. A £10 late arrival surcharge applies on the door after that time.

Refunds: You can get a refund if this event is rescheduled or cancelled.

Tickets are refundable if the event is cancelled or rescheduled. Otherwise all sales are final. Refunds for cancelled events are processed within 5 working days.
